On September 13, 2012, Congress passed legislation to extend the EB5 Green Card Investor Program until September 30, 2015, thus assuring investors the program is safe territory from which to obtain permanent residence(S. 3245). This is welcome action in our struggling economy, as the program brings billions of dollars of new money to America and continues to create thousands of jobs in various areas of the United States.
