USCIS announced that it has exhausted the H-1B cap subject numbers for fiscal year 2010 on December 21, 2009.  This means that for cap subject employment, H-1B petitions cannot be filed until April 1, 2010 for employment to begin no earlier than October 1, 2010.  Please feel free to contact us to discuss whether you fit into a cap exemption or whether you are eligible for an extension of F-1 practical training until October 1, 2010.
