Jan Pederson has been honored as a member of the Tahirih Justice Center 14^th Annual Benefit Committee to be held of May 25^th in Washington, D.C.  Tahirih Justice Center (www.tahirih.org) ,a non-profit organization founded in 1997 in the Washington, DC area, provides free legal, employment and social services to immigrant women and children who have been the victims of domestic violence, female genital mutilation, sex trafficking and other forms of gender based violence.  Ms. Pederson has been a member of the Legal Advisory Board of Tahirih since its founding.
