Officials at the Visa Office are estimating that there may be significant movement in the EB-2 immigrant visa category.  Based on unused EB-1 immigrant visa numbers that "fall" into the EB-2 category, as well as additional EB-2 availability, officials are assessing demands as they plan to release the May Visa Bulletin. Current estimates were for a "jump" forward of one to two weeks in the EB-2 category for India and China nationals. The forward movement may now be far greater. A final decision is expected in the May Visa Bulletin (to be released).
