The latest H-1B visa usage reports are available form USCIS, which indicate that approximately one-third (39%) of the Regular Cap H-1B visas have been spoken for, and nearly three-quarters (73.5%) of the Master Cap H-1B visas haven been allotted.
Thus, H-1B visas are available for Fiscal Year 2012, which is for H-1B employment commencing on or after October 1, 2011.
